On June 9, the production company confirmed the heartbreaking news on its Instagram account. Miller was a well-known name in Bravo’s infamous reality series. She was married to Kevin. Together they had a 3-year-old daughter, Emma, and now their newborn son, Jackson. Earlier today, Kevin broke his silence on his wife’s death while also updating fans about their son. Real Housewives’ Lauren Miller tragically passes away

Lauren worked for the Senior Vice Presidents of Programming and Development at the company. She was particularly close to several Bravo personalities she had worked with on set, many of whom paid their condolences and respects in the comment section. Tamra Judge wrote, “Prayers for her family & friends. This is absolutely heartbreaking.” Heather Gay from RHOSLC and Sai de Silva from RHONYC also responded with heartbreaking emojis. Shed Media, Lauren’s coworkers, and friends shared the GoFundMe campaign on social media, which instantly garnered support and raised over $132,000 as people from all over donated to help the family.

“This unimaginable loss is impossible to comprehend, and the hole that Lauren has left in this world and in her own family is one that can never be filled. We are devastated for her beloved husband, Kevin, who must now unexpectedly take on the sole role of parenting their two children,” the campaign message reads. In the description, her friends described Lauren as someone full of kindness, warmth, and love for her family. “It was no secret how close she was to her entire family or how excited she was when she got to start her own.”

Initially, the baby had to stay in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), but he was soon healthy enough to go home. On June 12, Kevin took Jackson home to be with him and his sister Emma. Four days after Miller’s death, he broke his silence, saying the baby was doing well, eating and sleeping soundly, and already alert and active. In a message posted online, Kevin called Lauren the love of his life and said he was grateful to have shared his life with her and their two children. “Please pray for our family and thank you all for the prayers, kind words and thoughts. God bless.”

She mentioned how overwhelmed they all were by the outpouring of love. “As we cope with our own grief, it has been so incredibly touching to see how this fundraiser has spread. We blew past our first target and are quickly approaching the second. A heartfelt thanks to everyone for donating and for spreading the word to your wider networks.”
