A glimpse of “Peelings” was revealed during a promotional event in Kochi. Allu Arjun expressed his excitement and said, “Because of the character Pushpa, I couldn’t dance much in Pushpa 1, and many fans have been asking for the vintage Bunny back. I promise, this song delivers that.”
In addition, he mentioned that the song’s chorus would be in Malayalam across all six language versions of the film, a token of love for his Kerala fans’ constant support and adoration. “This is my way of showing love for Kerala. The hook part will come three times in the song, and it will be in Malayalam worldwide,” he said.
The actor also shared the meaning of the song’s Malayalam lyrics on his Instagram. The post read, “SONG PROMO LYRICS MEANING – Are these kama deva’s arrows, or your eye arrows? Are these the first moon rays, or the butterfly smiles? Are these the beautiful bunch of jasmine, or your beautiful lips? Are these the beetles who are searching for honey or pieces of your enchanting desires?”
