Union Home Minister Amit Shah has already announced that the coming Bihar polls would be contested under leadership of JDU leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and “the matter should be rested”, Kumar’s son said Tuesday.

“Amit (Shah) uncle has said recently that pitaji (father) should be CM nominee… Samrat Choudhary (Bihar Deputy CM) has also said he had worked with my father for 15 years. There should be no confusion (over Nitish Kumar’s leadership now),” Nishant Kumar told reporters.

Nishant was referring to the row that erupted after Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini had said Sunday that “the flag of BJP’s victory in Bihar will be unfurled under Samrat Choudhary’s leadership”.
