A new video of mysterious lights illuminating the skies in Canada has set the Internet abuzz. According to the viral post, the lights were visible in Vancouver.
Shared by the X handle @dom_lucer, the video captures a display of multicoloured lights in the night sky. Surprised reactions from witnesses can also be heard in the background. The footage then shows a mysterious object moving in circular patterns, emitting vibrant lights as it floats through the sky.
“This strange light was recorded by witnesses in the United States and Canada. Witnesses report colorful UAPs and other unexplained phenomena lighting up the sky,” the caption read. UAP refers to Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon. However, indianexpress.com could not independently verify the credibility of the video.

The video, which garnered nearly 2 million views, sparked a range of reactions. “Here’s my problem with this. Why would alien spaceships have lights on them assuming they want to be here incognito? I’m sure they have the ability to see what’s around them without lights,” a user wrote. “With what drones are capable of doing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are just drones,” another user commented.
“Highly intelligent beings from other planets coming to earth flashing cheap Chinese LED lights was not on my 2025 bingo card,” a third user chimed in.
In June 2024, a Canadian couple claimed that they saw two glowing UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) above the Winnipeg River. According to reports, the object was as bright as the Sun and was flying above the shore. In November last year, a breathtaking video of light pillars illuminating the night sky in Canada’s Central Alberta went viral.
