Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has found himself in trouble in Turkey after “honking” the nose of his rival manager Okan Buruk in a testy Turkish Cup match on Wednesday. The fiery clash saw Mourinho’s team get knocked out after Galatasaray won 2-1. But tempers flared in the Istanbul Derby game that saw three players being sent off.

Fenerbahce had brushed aside the accusation and had filed a lawsuit against Galatasaray for an “attack on the personal rights” of their manager.

Galatasaray’s social media team celebrated its victory on Wednesday by posted a picture on its official X account of a smiling Buruk looking in his counterpart’s direction. The caption, along with a shushing emoji, read: “YOU SHOULD NOT ATTACK, YOU SHOULD DIGEST!”
