UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria has been holding regular Janata Darbars to hear public grievances directly and ensure their speedy resolution. The initiative has been receiving a positive response from citizens.
On Wednesday, once again, a Janata Darbar was held at the UT Secretariat in Chandigarh, where residents from different parts of the city came to present their issues directly to the Administrator.
A total of 17 complaints were received, most of which were resolved on the spot. The Administrator listened attentively to each grievance and instructed the officials concerned to take prompt action. In some cases, he personally sought updates from officials to expedite solutions.
These Janata Darbars are supposed to function as an important bridge for direct dialogue between citizens and the administration. Residents have been assured that their issues will be taken seriously and addressed with full transparency and care.
The issues raised in earlier Janata Darbars were also reviewed in detail with the officials concerned, and necessary steps have already been taken to resolve them.
