‘Jako rakhey saiyan…’: Disha Patani’s sister Khusboo Patani rescues abandoned child in Bareilly, video goes viral

Actor Disha Patani’s sister, Khushboo Patani, a former Lieutenant in the Indian Army, is winning hearts for her noble work by rescuing an abandoned child in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday. In a video she shared on Instagram, Khushboo detailed how she found and rescued an abandoned child near her residence. She assured viewers that the child would receive proper care and support.

The now-viral video captures Khushboo rescuing an infant she found sleeping in a run-down shanty near her residence in Bareilly. In the clip, she is seen arriving at the location and picking up the baby girl, who begins to cry. Holding her in her arms, she softly reassures the child, telling her not to worry and promising that she will be well looked after.

Further, Khushboo appeals and says, “If you are from Bareilly and this is your child, then tell us how the parents left her in this place. Shame on such parents!”. She concludes the video with a request to the public: “Please identify and share the girl child’s pictures.” She also named the abandoned baby, Radha, and promised social media users to track the police case and ensure the baby is taken care of.

“Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake nah koi. I hope she will be taken care by authorities and whatever is the chain of command ahead with proper rules and regulations,” Khushboo wrote in the caption. “I will ensure that she goes to right hand and her life will be flourished henceforth,” she added.

Several social media users and celebrities, including Disha and Bhumi Pednekar, hailed Khushboo for rescuing the child. “God bless her and you,” the Thank You For Coming actor commented. “Just cried seeing this , Sad. Great that god send you there to save this child. more and more power to you,” another user wrote.

Circle Officer (City-I) Pankaj Srivastava stated that Khushboo was on her morning walk when she heard the cries of a baby coming from an abandoned building nearby. “There was no direct access to the structure, so she took the courageous step of climbing over a wall to reach the spot. Inside, she found an infant lying on the ground, crying and with visible injuries on the face,” NDTV quoted Srivastava.

“Efforts are underway to trace those responsible for leaving the baby in such a condition,” he added
