After touring the world as part of Dil-Luminati tour, and becoming the first Punjabi singer to appear on The Tonight Show, Diljit Dosanjh is now set to appear in a song with K-Pop singer Jackson Wang. The two singers have collaborated for the song “Buck,” which is going to be a part of Jackson’s upcoming album Magic Man 2. With the album all set to release on July 18, Jackson is currently in India to promote it.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Jackson recalled the first time he met the G.O.A.T singer. He said, “The first time I encountered him was a few years ago. We performed at Coachella. His set was the last that closed out the Sahara tent, and my show was before that. And after my performance, I rush down. I looked. I watched his crazy set, and I was like, ‘Oh my God, maybe one day, I will be blessed to have a collaboration with him.’”
Jackson Wang manifested this collaboration for some time until he wrote the song “Buck”. The singer said, “I thought Diljit is gonna sound like fire on this song. I slid into his DM, and then I texted him.”

He added, “I said, ‘Hey champ. So this is the song that I created, If you like it, vibe with it. If you don’t, it’s all good.’ He replied, ‘Super.’ He showed me a lot of love and support, and that’s how the collaboration came together.”
In the same interview, Jackson Wang shared that he is a fan of Diljit Dosanjh’s song “Chauffeur,” a Punjabi track that blends elements of Punjabi music with rap. Diljit collaborated with Canadian singer Tory Lanez for the song.
Jackson Wang recently created curiosity among fans after pictures of him hanging out with Hrithik Roshan and his family surfaced online. Many speculated whether he will be seen in the actor’s upcoming film Krrish 4.
