The production for Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s upcoming film Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat has been finally completed. To celebrate this checkpoint, the crew, along with director Milap Zaveri, actor Shaad Randhawa, and casting director Raghav Sharma, had arranged a celebration with balloons, firecrackers and cake. While the cake was being cut, an explosion was heard, and nearly a 10-foot tall cloud of fire and smoke went up in the air right behind where everyone was standing. Rane took to his social media and shared a video about the incident.
The actor wrote a caption describing exactly what happened and thanked God for keeping everyone safe during the incident. Rane wrote, “You know God is on your film’s side when a mishap doesn’t touch you.” He continued and said that the crew had been shooting for 5 night shifts in a row and wanted to celebrate wrapping up the project. “While celebrating the wrap of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, a huge bunch of helium balloons burst 8-9 feet behind us,” added the actor.

The Sanam Teri Kasam actor also said that he missed music producer Anshul Garg, who he called the “driving force” behind the entire project. Rane has had a good start to the year as his film Sanam Teri Kasam re-released in theatres and surpassed its original collection in just two days. On the other hand, Sonam Bajwa’s last outing on the big screen was Housefull 5, which released on June 6. The movie has already crossed the Rs 120 crore mark after just a week into its theatrical run, and Sonam will be hoping to repeat this success with this movie when it comes out on October 2.
Directed by Milap Zaveri, only Sonam Bajwa and Harshvardhan Rane have been revealed as members of the cast. Zaveri has co-written the script with screenwriter Mushtaq Sheikh.
