Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi, on Sunday, posted pictures of a small Hanuman temple, discovered during a demolition drive in Devbhumi Dwarka district, and a story associated with it. Sanghavi posted on X, “During a recent mega illegal demolition drive in the Balapor area of Devbhoomi Bet Dwarka, a small, forgotten Hanuman temple was discovered hidden among the grasslands. After inquiring with local senior citizens, it was revealed that demographic changes and illegal encroachments had led to the temple’s decline and abandonment. Thankfully, the Gujarat police took the initiative to conserve and restore the temple. On the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, the temple was reopened to the public, reviving a piece of local heritage and spirituality.” (Parimal Dabhi)
A Rebuttal
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Sunday termed a release — which claims that the Class 12 and the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) results will be declared on 9 am on April 17, and has gone viral on social media — as “fake”. “Fake release issued in the name of GSHSEB is being circulated on the social media. No such message has been issued by the GSHSEB. The dates for the result of March 2025 board exams and GUJCET conducted by the board will be declared officially which will be also released on the board’s website,” the rebuttal stated.
