Former Chief Secretary of Gujarat P K Laheri was recently felicitated by various voluntary organisations at a function held in Ahmedabad. Following his retirement in 2008, Laheri has been associated with a number of voluntary organisations working in different fields. He is also one of the trustees of Somnath Temple Trust. During the function, messages sent by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah were also read out. A number of eminent personalities of Gujarat from different spheres were present on the occasion. The felicitation function was organised on the occasion of Laheri turning 80 last month. Three books by Laheri were also released at the function.
