Ahmedabad’s double delight and an elated Rajkot topper

As the results of the GSHSEB Class 12 examinations were declared on Monday, joy filled houses of many who saw the light of success after ages of hardwork.

Happiness has doubled for Pithva family in Ahmedabad with 17-year-old identical twins Rutvik and Ronak securing 99 and 97 percentile, respectively, in GSHSEB Class 12 exams. Rutvik and Ronak are students of government-run Sarvajanik Madhyamik Shaka in Ahmedabad’s Sarkhej.

Their father is a carpenter, while their mother does embroidery works at home. The brothers, who are pursuing a CA course in Ahmedabad, thanked the family for supporting them and said their dreams are big.

Meanwhile in Rajkot, Raj Narainbhai Parmar (17) is elated with his result. Securing a 99.99 percentile in the exams, he has earned for himself a place among the toppers in Rajkot. Raj’s father runs a tea stall near Samras hostel in Rajkot city. A student of Modi School, Raj said: “With no job available, my father has been running a tea stall for the last six-seven years. I used to go to my father’s stall for two to three hours every day to help him,” Raj said.

Raj aspires to become a CA, and attributes his success to his teachers and parents.
