Days after Bollywood icons Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan shut down separation rumours by attending a wedding together and dancing with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, Abhishek was spotted with his mother Jaya Bachchan and niece Navya Naveli Nanda at Mumbai airport.
The clip, which appeared on a paparazzo account and has since gone viral, begins by showing Abhishek on the footpath, waiting for Jaya and Navya. As a beaming Navya passes by, Abhishek follows after ensuring that Jaya is right behind them. The video also captures an adorable moment when Abhishek, like a dutiful son, leads the way for his mother. “This way mom, this way,” he is heard saying as Jaya appears confused about which entry gate to take. Although the photographers can be heard asking Navya to pose for pictures, she walks on without acknowledging the request. However, no one dares to make the same request to Jaya, who often gets upset with photo requests during private moments with family, or Abhishek, who is seen walking closely behind her.
While Abhishek was dressed in a casual white hoodie and black sweatpants, paired with a beige jacket and white shoes, Jaya opted for a blue denim shirt and black pants. Navya, meanwhile, kept it laid-back in a long-sleeve t-shirt, denim jeans and red sneakers, along with a fresh short haircut and black-framed glasses. As soon as the video surfaced online, several netizens took to the comment section wondering where Aishwarya and Aaradhya were. Many also pointed out that it had been quite a while since Aishwarya and Jaya were seen together.
A few days ago, Aishwarya and Abhishek had attended the wedding of her cousin Shloka Shetty’s brother in Pune, with Aaradhya also present. A video from the ceremony, showing the couple grooving to their iconic dance number “Kajra Re” with Aaradhya and other family members, also went viral. Fans were also charmed by a romantic moment the couple shared as they danced together, when they locked eyes.
