At least 13 soldiers killed, 20 others injured in suicide attack in Pakistan: report

At least 13 soldiers were killed and about 20 others injured on Saturday when a suicide bomber in an explosive-laden vehicle crashed into a military convoy in northwest Pakistan, according to a local government official quoted by news agency AFP.

The suicide attack took place in North Waziristan district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The injured persons include at least 10 army personnel and 19 civilians.

“A suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a military convoy. The blast killed 13 soldiers, injured 10 army personnel and 19 civilians,” the official told AFP.
