The Raja Saab teaser shows a huge haunted haveli, which has ghosts, ghouls and a secret treasure. The Raja, owner of the haveli, doesn’t want anyone else to live there. Prabhas is in love with Nidhhi, and even gives a shoutout to actor Shah Rukh Khan while expressing his love for her in the Hindi version of the video.

The actor appeared in two different looks, and Sanjay Dutt’s villainous avatar was a surprise. Malavika’s character looked obsessed with him, although there’s a twist once he enters the haveli and has to deal with the ghosts. The two-minute teaser clip showed brilliant VFX and grand visuals with an added touch of folklore and horror elements.
At the teaser launch event, director Maruthi said, “The Raja Saab is a genre-defying journey – it flows between horror and fantasy, the real and the surreal. At its heart, it’s about emotion, but surrounded by magic, mystery, and madness. Launching it in Prabhas’ city, and seeing everyone respond so powerfully, was unforgettable. This haveli isn’t just a set – it breathes with the film’s soul.”
Recently, photos and videos from The RajaSaab teaser were leaked online, and the makers had to give a warning to fans from re-sharing it. They wrote in an X post, “Strict action will be taken and handles will be suspended immediately if any leaked content from #TheRajaSaab is found….We request everyone to cooperate and stand with us in protecting the experience….Let’s celebrate responsibly. Be aware.”
They announced on Sunday that they built a 41,256 sq ft haveli for The RajaSaab, claiming it as India’s ‘biggest’ horror set. The movie was earlier supposed to be released on 10 April but was postponed, and will now hit the theatres on December 5.
