The Delhi Police on Saturday arrested a 30-year-old LLB student for allegedly issuing a death threat to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta via the Ghaziabad police control room (PCR).

The police identified the accused as Shlok Tiwari and said he was arrested from Daulatpur Colony in Ghaziabad on Saturday morning. Tiwari is pursuing an LLB degree and works as a deed writer at the Ghaziabad court, the police said.

Tiwari is known to make anonymous calls to the PCR, a senior police officer said. “According to his call data records, he has made over 40 anonymous calls in the past year,” the officer added.
